Radiator Painting in Canary Wharf: What to expect

Most Canary Wharf (E14) radiator jobs are part of a wider room repaint in a high-rise apartments — typically 6–10 radiators across the house. We isolate each one, strip the failing paint, key-sand, prime with a heat-stable adhesion primer and finish in two coats of radiator-grade satin. Pipework and valves are included.

Many E14 apartments have panel radiators or convector covers left in a tired factory white that yellows under the big south-facing windows. We respray them in situ with heat-stable coatings, systems off and cooled first, using extraction so there is no odour drift into the corridor — practical in a flat where removing and reinstating radiators would mean draining a shared heating system.

Canary Wharf decorating is a logistics job as much as a painting job. Most of our E14 work is inside managed high-rise buildings around Pan Peninsula, South Quay, Wood Wharf and Marsh Wall, where lift bookings, loading-bay slots, concierge sign-in and protection of communal corridors all have to be arranged before a brush comes out.
