Staircase Painting in Hackney: What to expect
Most staircase jobs in Hackney (E8/E9) are in victorian terracess where the spindles, strings and handrails have collected 30+ years of paint and the treads are scuffed from daily use. We hand-strip and sand back to a sound key, fill the joints, prime and finish in a hard-wearing eggshell system. Half-stair scheduling keeps the staircase usable through the work.
Hackney's Victorian terraces around London Fields, Broadway Market and Clapton Square are increasingly sought after by families who value the area's character. We work across E8 and E9 on full-house repaints, period restoration and the kind of bold colour schemes that suit Hackney's design-aware homeowners.
